Room was nice. Breakfast was good but the hours were not. Should have been till 10am at least on Sunday. What was horrible was that the staff shut down breakfast without any warning! We r on vacation and don’t look at a clock, a heads up before all beverages were shut off would have just been a courtesy! Housekeeping was FANTASTIC, friendly and helpful!!

This motel in "Oyster City" was easy to find and near the downtown historic district and local grocery store. The bed was comfortable and the hot breakfast section was appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful and recommended a good evening restaurant for delicious oysters and Gulf shrimp.

breakfast was really good, especially the waffles! Our room was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was great and we had everything we needed for the three days we were there.

The breakfast was very good and the breakfast attended was very helpful. We also had a dysfunctional A/C unit and without hesitation they helped us move to another room and gave us a little break on the bill. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay on Florida's forgotten coast.

Check in process was vey smooth. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not a la cart but certainly sufficient.

We had a corner room on the 2nd floor that was newly remodeled. It was a modern, clean, large room that was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly.

*The room was clean. *Breakfast was good if you got there in time to get it. *Staff was friendly with the exception of a 2nd shift desk employee on Friday (5/27) who gave my husband a fit about asking for extra blankets. *The pool and deck area was very nice. The property was beautiful. *The room size was sufficient for a family of 5. Nicely updated and clean.

Very clean! The suite was updated, clean, comfortable and suitable for our family. The room cleaners were so sweet, and even went out of their way to make our children smile during the stay. Will be back!

The location was excellent. Breakfast was very good and compared well with any elsewhere. Miss Mary on the desk is a gem as is Donna in the breakfast room. The room was nicely cleaned every day.

This was a clean economical place to stay when visiting Appalachicola. It was right on the highway but pretty quiet. Not within walking distance of town, but just a short drive from the restaurants etc. You cannot see the ocean.
